About the designer

Circles by Jonathan is owned by Jonathan Valdez. A proud filipino currently base in Hong Kong. Jonathan is a professional dancer, performer and artist who is currently performing in one of the prestigious theme park in the world, Disneyland and full time performer in The Festival of the Lion King Show.

Aside from being passionate in performing, Jonathan also has an artistic side of making things such as show props, costumes and of course accessories that lead him to pursue another venture in jewelry making. His concept is making simple yet elegant that can be wear in any kind of occasions. And that’s why his tagline is Beauty from Simplicity

Logo and Brand History

The four intertwine circles represent the official logo of Circles by Jonathan. 4 is very significant when his creating the company. First, he started the company when he was 40 years old. Second, he came up with the idea of creating his first collections inspired by four seasons (see the women collections, most of the designs are still available upon request), Third, each seasons, has 10 designs. And in total of 40 handcrafted necklaces that is intricately made using different sizes of high quality stainless steel jump rings forming asymmetric with the influence of Japanese chainail and Byzantine chain and embellished only with authentic Swarovski Elements.

Since 80 percent of the material use is jump ring, he came up with the idea of using circles and by connecting his name, Circles by Jonathan was born.

Through out the years, his designs evolve and eventually incorporate natural stones both precious and semi precious.
