Hi, Im Jonathan Valdez - a professional dancer, choreographer and stage performer.

With 17 years of experience performing at Hong Kong Disneyland, appearing in The Festival of the Lion King and The Golden Mickeys Show. I was honored to become Dance Captain in my second year, leading, teaching, and inspiring fellow performers both on and off stage.

While working and residing in Hong Kong, where I became a permanent resident, I also pursued my entrepreneurial side. I founded Circle by Jonathan, a handmade accessories brand where I personally designed and crafted each piece. I managed not only the creative side but also the content creation and marketing, handling product photo shoot and turning them into engaging short-forms videos. Through this, I further honed my ability in visual storytelling, branding, and fashion-focused content creation.

Before joining Hong Kong Disneyland, i served as the Artistic Director of Drag-ons Philippines, a professional drag group recognized in the country for showcasing multi-talented drag artist. In this role, I directed performances, managed schedules, and coordinated productions- developing strong skills in time management, organization and leadership. It was also where my interest in video editing and digital storytelling first begun, as i started creating content to highlight our shows and artists..

Now, Im building on all those experiences, combining my background in the performing arts, leadership and entrepreneurship, with my passion for video editing, creative content, and digital projects.

When I'm not working, you'll often find me in the garden (I love DIY landscaping and design),experimenting with new editing projects, or enjoying time and care for my family.

Meet Sensei Joni

This project features a fully AI-generated fitness instructor, “Sensei Joni,” designed to deliver clear and engaging workout guidance. From character design to animation and scripting, this video was created using AI tools including Studio AI and Seedance 2.0, with final editing and refinement done in post-production.

The goal of this project was to explore consistent avatar identity, natural motion, and instructional clarity in an AI-driven environment. Special attention was given to pacing, camera control, and minimizing animation glitches to achieve a clean and professional result.

This serves as a proof of concept for scalable AI-generated fitness content, combining creative direction, technical prompting, and post-editing techniques.
